The Bow River Falls are a series of waterfalls located on the Bow River in Banff National Park, in the Canadian province of Alberta. The falls are located near the town of Banff, and are a popular tourist destination.
The Bow River Falls consist of three main drops: the Upper Falls, the Middle Falls, and the Lower Falls. The Upper Falls is the highest of the three, at a height of 30 metres (100 feet). The Middle Falls is 20 metres (66 feet) high, and the Lower Falls is 10 metres (33 feet) high.
The Bow River Falls are accessible via a short hike from the Bow River Trailhead, located just off the Trans-Canada Highway. The trail is an easy one kilometre (0.6 mile) hike, and takes around 30 minutes to complete.
The Bow River Falls are a popular spot for photography, and are also a popular destination for ice climbers in the winter.
