The Pursuit of Happiness is often thought of as a Public Endeavour

The pursuit of happiness is often thought of as a public endeavour. We strive to achieve success in our careers, to be popular and well-liked, and to make a difference in the world. And while there’s nothing wrong with any of these things, true happiness doesn’t come from what we do or achieve in the public eye. Instead, it comes from our inner state of being.

When we’re happy in private – when we’re at peace with ourselves and content with our lives – that’s when we’re most likely to be successful in public. Why? Because happiness is contagious. When we’re happy, we radiate positive energy that attracts others to us. We’re also more likely to take risks and pursue our dreams, both of which are essential for success.

So if you’re chasing happiness, don’t look to the outside world for validation. Instead, focus on creating a state of inner peace and contentment. From there, everything else will fall into place.

The mind is its own place, and in itself can make a heaven of hell, a hell of heaven.

    -John Milton

Your state of mind is the most important factor in determining your success. If you’re not happy with your current situation, then no amount of success in public will make you happy. You have to find happiness within yourself first. Once you do, everything else will fall into place. Success will come naturally and easily. So if you want to be successful, focus on being happy first and foremost. Everything else will follow suit.
